Lab Tone Output Using An Arduino:

• Got my force sensors working and soldered my speaker

  • Thought my speaker wasn’t working but it was just emitting a quiet sound and there was lots of noise on the ITP floor.

    

• Independently my speaker and force sensor work. They don’t seem to want to work when tied together though. Just kidding they work my speaker is just super quiet. When I hold it up to my ear it sounds like R2D2 screaming.

• Oh look the lab is telling me how to make it louder! I plugged in the transistor but my sound was still the same level of quiet. Turns out i had the wrong resistor in! Still sounds like R2 just louder lol

• Going farther with sound. Got Tom’s sample melody with tone working. Now making my own melody aka looking at the sheet music for “Spooky Scary Skeletons” and trying to play it using the nano.

• Question: Can these speakers play sound clips/mp4s or just tones?

Lab 2: Servo Motor Control with an Arduino

• Question on the capacitor: We don’t have any 10s in the shop - is there an alternative we can use? (Ans: Can use between 10-100)
