Worksheet exercises are going well. Haven’t attempted the challenges at the time of writing this but I plan to look at them tonight.
I feel like my biggest struggle is that I feel like my code is clunky and not as concise and simple as it could be. I know the point of these exercises now are to learn and work through concepts, but I feel like I am taking extra steps to make things work that I may not actually need.
I did play with a positive relationship in my self portrait sketch - changing the color of my jack-’o-lantern hat depending on the Y location of the mouse. See link below. I think the next thing I would change if I kept working on this would be to make the face look scarier when the background turned red - likely inverting the smile and making the eyes narrow.
