This semester, I’ve spent a good bit of time exploring AR, LiDAR, and 3D Modeling and Environments. For this project, I would like to synthesize what I have learned to create a landscape of sorts that plays on the imperfections of LiDAR scanning to create a cursed collaged environment using Blender.
Liminal Spaces - Abandoned amusement parks, traditional parks, city streets, gym spaces
Repulsion for the contemporary, overly perfected/styled look in Hollywood and social media influencers
The concept of reaching out to touch something but it’s not really there
This week - Go out and scan a ton of things. Edit them. Animate something? Start collaging in Blender.
Next week - Finalize collaging in Blender. Let the composition then tell me the best way to share the work with the world.
