Script:
1: So this is the last spot I wanted to show you on this virtual campus tour! You can follow me around this space! And when you are done, you can head out this archway right behind us now!
2: This is the backside of the library. It was just gut renovated and reopened a few months ago! You should have seen if before - it was falling apart. If you look carefully, you can see the solar panels on the roof. There’s a great study porch up there in their shade! This particular back door is always locked for some reason. But definitely pickable if you are up for a challenge. Shhhh don’t tell anyone I told you that!
3: I’ve had a few classes in here. It’s an older building, but I think that’s part of it’s charm. It’s like being back at my undergrad small, liberal arts college in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire ahahaha. Although it’s energy usage is terrible. I think the University wants to update it soon.
4: Through these windows, you can see Polypous Technology. They focus on eye tracking technology, and are the ones that made the smart contact lenses I wear! I’m going to participate in a human-brain chip study there later in the summer. They’re exploring a basically a cybernetic chip that would allow me to control my personal devices telepathically! I’m gonna be a cyborg!!
5: I love spending time in this quad. It reminds me of why I got into all this environmental stuff in the first place: My mom works as a native landscape restoration consultant. She’s been involved in the space for decades, and worked on all kinds of parks and city projects across the country, helping restore native plants and mitigate the effects of climate change on cities. She inspired me to get into this work. This quad also stays nice and cool in the summer heat, and it’s usually pretty quiet in here so it’s a great place to escape to.
6: Thank you so much for going on this virtual tour with me! And again, my name is Alice, and the admissions department can give you my contact info if you have questions! Hope to see you around here next year!
Each section of the script belongs to a corresponding pink sphere. These hopefully will be replaced by Ready Player Me avatars for the Spring Show, if I have the time to get them running this weekend.
