Pick an adjective and create a face lens to depict its meaning. Extra credit: create a second face lens that depicts its opposite.
Inspiration: Pinterest Mood Board: I wanted to explore the groovy pop culture aesthetic of the 60s and 70s with this filter. Since this is a face filter, I was specifically looking for makeup trends like the thick 60s eyeliner and the bold 70s eye shadow, and jewelry trends such as bold, solid dangles and large silver hoops. I also wanted to include some other imagery to include the psychedelic visual trends of this era along with some rock and roll vibes. I plan to include these through stylized flower crown decorations and tinted overlays.
This mood board made with Pinterest Shuffles and can be found here.
Assets: They’re hard to find! I used things I could find on the Snap Asset library to get myself going, as I don’t really know how to make 3D assets for myself. It’s on my list of things to learn this semester. I tried to stay on theme of being groovy while I picked things to use for this filter. I used spheres as stand ins for earrings with a iridescent material, a rainbow headband as a stand in for a flower crown, some light makeup leaning 70s style (was having trouble adjusting the spacing Lens Studio gives them as defaults), and a golden overlay to warm everything up.
